All About Me

If it’s all about you, then there’s probably no room for anyone else in the equation. And if there’s no room for anyone else, then people may stick around for some time to see if you’re going to change your mind. But eventually, they’ll leave and find someone who is willing to at least share the spotlight.

Be careful that in our self-absorbed culture with its many altars to the ego (ie: Facebook, Twitter, etc) that you don’t get confused and start thinking that it’s all about you. The quickest way to ruin relationships is to consistently let others know that your problems and your successes are more important than theirs.
