Negotiating Tactics

I’m reading a book on negotiating tactics. So many of my clients this past year have come to me for career guidance and negotiating a salary is definitely something I’d like to learn more about so I can help them get paid what they deserve. 

It’s fascinating to me how many of these negotiating steps could actually be used to better one’s relationships. One of my favorite pieces of advice in this book is to set a definite boundary around when to walk away from an offer.

How many of you, I wonder, have a specific, definite boundary in mind when it comes to your own personal relationships? Do you know when it would be best to continue to negotiate and when it would be best to walk away?
